  Dr. Bairat graduated from S.S.T. Ayurvedic College (Poona Uni) with a Bachelors in Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery in 1999 and from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (Pune) with a Doctor of Medicine in 2003.  Her thesis "Role of Lekhan Basti in Sthoulya (Obesity)" focused on the administration of medicated enemas for treating obesity and its underlying conditions.  Dr. Bairat conducted clinical trials on 50 patients to determine the efficacy of treatments.
